据了解，在近段时间，宁波地区余姚某家电生产企业生产的果蔬烘干机在经过经余姚局检验合格后，顺利销往波兰。这是宁波地区首次将诸如烘干机类似产品销往国外。此次销往国外的烘干机数量达到6400台，价值为4.9万美元。
该烘干机与其它普通机械式蔬菜烘干机不同，其结构简单，并且功能也实用。其工作原理主要是通过发热丝与一个直流电机实现烘干效果。对于家庭式蔬瓜果的烘干很有效，也方便保存。
我国国内目前可以生产此类烘干机的厂家只有少数的几家而已，其产品大多销往欧洲地区，据悉，位于余姚辖区的该家生产企业，在今年的销售额预计将会达到一百万美元左右。
